Privacy Policy for PJConverter

Introduction

PJConverter is built for accurate, offline coordinate conversions. We do not operate any servers, create user accounts, or monetize your data. This policy explains what information stays on your device and how optional diagnostics are handled.

Data that stays on your device

Coordinate conversions: All projection math runs locally using the bundled PROJ library. Input and output coordinates never leave your device.
Custom projections & recents: Definitions you create and recently used projections are written as JSON files inside your device's Application Support/PJConverter directory.
No analytics or tracking: The app does not embed third-party analytics SDKs or advertising identifiers.

Permissions and sensors

Location (While Using the App): Requested only when you open the map picker so the map can center on your current position. Coordinates are used for that session and are not sent to the developer or any third party.

Aggregated diagnostics from Apple

If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in iOS, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized MetricKit reports (e.g., crash counts, hang durations). These reports help us improve performance and never include personal information or raw coordinates.

Your privacy choices

You can edit or delete any custom projection directly in the app.
You may clear recent history from within the app or by removing the PJConverter documents via Settings > General > iPhone Storage > PJConverter.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Because we never copy it to our own servers, deleted data cannot be recovered.

自定义投影与最近使用：您创建的自定义定义及最近使用记录会以 JSON 文件保存在设备的 Application Support/PJConverter 目录。
无分析与跟踪：应用未集成任何第三方分析 SDK 或广告标识符。

访问的权限

定位（仅在使用时）：仅在打开地图拾取器时请求，用于将地图居中于您的当前位置。该定位信息仅用于当次会话，不会传输给开发者或任何第三方。

来自 Apple 的汇总诊断

如果您在 iOS 中选择向开发者共享分析数据，Apple 可能会向我们提供汇总化、匿名化的 MetricKit 报告（例如崩溃次数、卡顿时长）。这些报告仅用于改进性能，且不包含个人信息或原始坐标。

您的隐私选择

您可以在应用内随时编辑或删除自定义投影。
可在应用内清除最近记录，或通过 设置 > 通用 > iPhone 储存空间 > PJConverter 删除应用数据。
卸载应用会移除所有本地数据。由于我们不会将数据复制到服务器，删除后的信息无法恢复。
